About the role:
The Data Visualization Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated dashboards that provide real-time insights and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making within an organization. This role involves collaborating with various teams to understand their data requirements, automating data extraction and transformation processes, and ensuring the dashboards are user-friendly and efficient.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and dashboard requirements
- Translate business requirements into technical specification s fir automated dashboard development
- Develop automated process for extracting data from multiple sources
- Implement data transformation and cleansing procedures to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Utilize data visualization tools and programming languages to create interactive and visually appealing dashboards
- Monitor and optimize dashboard performance to ensure responsiveness and efficient data rendering
- Provide training and support to end-users as needed
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of the configuration and troubleshooting procedures.
- Maintain and implement fixes and updates to existing dashboards
- Conduct regular report checks to ensure the accuracy of data
Key job requirements include:
- Proven experience in dashboard development and data visualization
- Proficiency in data manipulation using SQL, Python, or other relevant languages
- Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of data security and governance best practices
