Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is an executive search firm recruiting on behalf of a leading fashion and retail company. Our respected client is seeking a highly skilled E-Commerce Marketing Officer (EMO) to join their team. This position will be based in Makati, Philippines.
Job Overview:
The E-Commerce Marketing Officer (EMO) supports the E-Commerce Head in developing and executing digital marketing assets for the brand's website, marketplaces (Lazada, Shopee, Zalora, TikTok), and other promotional materials. The EMO collaborates with the E-Commerce team and cross-functional teams like Operations, Marketing, Customer Care, and Merchandising to achieve store marketing goals and drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
E-Commerce Marketing:
- Assist in conceptualizing and executing digital activations tied to product highlights, including the brand's e-commerce website, marketplaces (Lazada, Shopee, Zalora, and others), seasonal creative/brand assets for online stores, digital creative assets, and consumer promotions.
- Handle all online store requirements for visual and brand initiatives across all accounts and brands.
- Manage and brief in-house creative teams, media buying teams, or external agencies regarding design requirements for online store programs and initiatives.
- Develop initiatives for online stores, marketplaces, and brand experiences to engage potential and existing consumers.
- Ensure compliance with visual marketing activities, company policies, procedures, and government regulations related to retail ads and promotions.
- Act as the liaison between the E-Commerce team and the Marketing, Merchandising, and Retail teams to align retail marketing initiatives with digital e-commerce efforts.
- Ensure that all digital marketing initiatives for e-commerce are prepared, including DTI applications, adherence to creative asset size requirements, and marketplace platform guidelines.
- Maintain regular communication with the marketing team to ensure brand visual concepts and execution align with global guidelines.
- Handle additional digital marketing projects as assigned.
- Monitor sub-channels of various accounts to ensure marketing KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Provide or design marketing promotions as needed.
- Conduct periodic (monthly) marketing review meetings with the E-Commerce Head, TSA team, and Marketplace KAMs.
- Evaluate and implement marketing strategies tailored to each sub-channel.
Officer Responsibilities:
- Planning: Forecast needs, prepare actionable plans, develop the e-commerce marketing calendar and budgets, and arrange time schedules. Develop policies and simplified procedures.
- Organizing: Coordinate activities across levels through a sound structure and regular interaction among employees.
- Leading: Foster the development of high-performing employees who support the vision and core values of TSA through rational decision-making, training, coaching, and open communication (e.g., regular meetings and employee recognition).
- Managing: Set performance goals and standards to measure actual performance and create performance plans.
Relationship Building:
- Build strong working relationships with Sales and Marketing teams.
- Regularly coordinate with and support E-Commerce Sales, Account Management teams, and KAMs.
- Address account requests and needs while aligning with company objectives to ensure mutual benefits.
Reporting & Analysis
- Utilize Google Analytics, Shopify, and marketplace seller centers to analyze customer behavior and funnel conversions.
- Develop an e-commerce marketing calendar in collaboration with EAMs and the E-Commerce Head for brand and commercial executions.
- Formulate strategies and share recommendations with the E-Commerce Head and Sales Manager to address areas needing improvement.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
- Working knowledge of e-commerce and marketplace channel operations, including audience behaviors.
- At least 2 years of experience working with online e-commerce and marketplace platforms (e.g., Lazada, Shopee, Zalora).
- Experience in participating in major e-commerce events (e.g., 9.9, 10.10 events).
- Experience in retail, consumer goods, clothing/apparel, beauty/cosmetics, FMCG, or electronics is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Tools (Docs, Slides, Sheets).
- Experience in digital retailing and B2C is required.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Data-driven with the ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to plan and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
- Willing to undergo an onsite hiring process, including interviews and assessments.
