Job Description:
- Developing and implementing business strategies to achieve business goals and objectives of the company. Monitor and manage budgets, financial statements, and performance metrics to ensure business profitability.
- Operational Oversight: Manage all freight forwarding activities including air, sea, haulage and warehousing, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team to achieve high performance and operational excellence.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop strategies to achieve operational goals.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the operations budget, ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure all operations comply with local and international laws.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities to senior management.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and operations management in logistics industry, with a proven track record of success
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, freight forwarding regulations, and customs procedures.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
