Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia's Industrial Division is recruiting on behalf of a leading global integrated drilling fluids and tools service provider for the position of a Group Head HR. As the Group Head HR, you will be responsible for overseeing human resources functions across multiple countries within our organization. This role combines strategic HR leadership with business partnering responsibilities to ensure alignment of HR initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Drive organizational development initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across diverse geographical locations.
- Lead HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, talent management, and organizational culture. - HR Business Partnering:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and regional leaders on HR-related matters.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their HR needs and develop customized HR solutions.
- Provide guidance and support on workforce planning, succession planning, and talent acquisition strategies. - Operational Oversight:
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations including but not limited to employee relations, compensation and benefits, payroll, and HR compliance.
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local labor laws and regulations across different countries.
- Drive HR process improvements and standardization to achieve operational excellence. - Global HR Management:
- Manage and mentor a team of HR professionals located across various countries.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
- Conduct regular HR audits and assessments to ensure consistency and adherence to global HR standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (15 years) in a senior HR leadership role within the oil and gas industry or a similarly complex multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations across multiple jurisdictions (Middle East, Africa, etc.).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into HR initiatives.
- Certification such as SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent is a plus.
