Executive Recruitment Company Monroe Consulting Group represents a global FMCG company looking for a Head of Finance. The role will supervise and control all functions of the Finance & Operations Department. This hands-on role involves preparing accurate management and statutory reports, providing financial assessments, ensuring efficient logistics, and strengthening department capabilities. The role also includes implementing internal control policies and overseeing daily financial activities such as reporting, IT, tax, accounting, cash management, audits, inventory management, and customer service.

This role requires a dynamic individual who can lead the Finance & Operations Department to achieve strategic objectives and ensure efficient operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of management and statutory reports.
  • Oversee operations, ensuring efficient logistics, warehouse management, and customer service.
  • Enhance team capabilities, systems, and processes within the Finance & Operations Department.
  • Implement and monitor compliance with internal control policies.
  • Manage daily financial activities including reporting, analysis, IT, tax, accounting, cash management, audits, and inventory.
  • Produce, analyze, and interpret financial information to support decision-making.
  • Generate accurate and compliant financial statements.
  • Manage tax matters to optimize financial and operational impacts.
  • Understand legal matters to assess financial and operational impacts.
  • Identify and mitigate business risks, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Forecast cash flows and manage financial partner relationships.
  • Support and improve business processes and information systems.
  • Understand business from a holistic perspective and make strategic recommendations.
  • Plan, monitor and deliver projects effectively.
  • Build quality relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders.


Job Requirements:.

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in FMCG Industry
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and local tax regulations.
  • Familiarity with ERPs (JD Edwards or SAP), excellent command of English, critical thinking, analytical skills, organizational abilities, multitasking, entrepreneurial mindset, team player, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven record of leading high-performing teams.
