Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Industrial Division is exclusively partnered with a multinational organization well-established in the field of manufacturing. Our respected client is seeking a Head of Ingot Process Engineering to join their team and support the expansion of their Solar PVC manufacturing site at a cutting-edge, world-class facility in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India. The selected candidate will spearhead initiatives in areas such as Organization Management and System Solutions across the organization's Solar PVC Business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Ingot Process Engineering team, overseeing all aspects of ingot manufacturing processes.
- Develop and optimize crystal growth processes, including silicon recycling and charging, to improve yield, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to implement new technologies and process improvements.
- Monitor and analyze process data, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all ingot manufacturing processes.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve process issues and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Implement and oversee process validation and qualification activities.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Maintain accurate documentation of processes, procedures, and changes, reporting on process performance to senior management.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and equipment that meet process requirements and quality standards.
Key Job Requirements
- Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Materials Science, Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and optimize industrial processes in a manufacturing setup, focusing on the mathematical and physical aspects of production.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years managing a full process engineering team (100 engineers and technicians) in a complex manufacturing plant.
- Industry Preference: Electronic, Solar, Semiconductor, Steel/Alloy, Aluminum Foundries, or other high-tech industries.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and leadership skills with the potential for higher responsibility.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Minitab.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001 standards.
- Experience with Six Sigma, QC Tools, Kaizen, Statistical Process Control, and Total Quality Management (TQM) is an added advantage.
