Executive Recruitment Firm, Monroe Consulting Group is working with an esteemed financial services company to onboard their Head of Transformation, Asia to spearhead their projects with the latest technologies. ( Note: Candidates must come from an Insurance background)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Completion of "Gearshift 2.0" for residual Asia OEs. Consolidating IT Services into RDC Malaysia and outsourcing to the chosen partner as appropriate.
  • Ensure RDC Malaysia and regional TOM is fully operationalized including Commercial operations.
  • Establish an appropriate vendor governance model for the Transformation key Partner for the region both during the transformation and for future steady-state runs.
  • Develop and implement a transformation roadmap for the Operating Entities in the region covering both regional and global initiatives (e.g., Asia Regional applications, Enhanced Regulatory, AZT Speed to Value).
  • Support the annual budget planning process in partnership with Account management, Portfolio management, finance teams and the company's customers
  • Support other key regional transformation initiatives as needed e.g., M&A.
  • Create a culture of ownership, customer focus, and a "one Asia team" within the CTO3 and the company



Job Requirements:

  • 15+ years relevant experience in multi-national organizations with experience leading complex transformation. Insurance company Operations and Technology. IT Shared services experience a plus.
  • 10+ years of Commercial model and Finance Transformation experience with a deep understanding of Financial Planning and Analysis, Restructuring and Financial operations.
  • 10+ years of scale program management experience managing project financials, demand management, change management, KPI tracking, and reporting alignment within a complex matrix organization.
  • Experience with bid/proposal preparation and the ability to negotiate and manage multi million Euro service contracts is a must.
  • Experience in Asia markets. Work cultural and Financial Regulatory environments.
  • Excels working in a matrix organization, leading by influence and with a strong track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Tolerance for ambiguity and strong resilience.
  • Current and solid understanding of current Technology topics and of AGILE and software delivery models.
  • Knowledge of Life and P&C business models. Products, Distribution and Systems
  • Demonstrated success in providing innovative solutions to key challenges with the ability to syndicate ideas through senior stakeholder approval.
  • Goal-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experienced in managing multi-cultural and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Customer-centric mindset; transparent & fact-based. Able to work from the Board level and to lead junior teams.
  • Fluent in English.
