Executive recruitment firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a maritime services company. Our respective client is seeking for an HR Manager who will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations. This role is onsite in Makati and will be reporting to the Vice President.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Maintains organizational structure by updating job requirements and descriptions for all positions.
  • Supports staff management by establishing and overseeing recruiting, testing, and interviewing processes; advising managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; and recommending improvements.
  • Prepares employees for assignments by designing and delivering orientation and training programs.
  • Administers pay plans by conducting periodic salary surveys; scheduling and performing job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and managing individual pay actions; and recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
  • Promotes effective performance management by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; addressing and resolving employee grievances; and providing counseling to both employees and supervisors.
  • Manages employee benefits programs by assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; overseeing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; and developing educational programs to inform employees about benefits.
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal and state human resource regulations; conducting investigations; maintaining records; and representing the organization at hearings.
  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Preserves historical HR records by creating and managing a filing and retrieval system to maintain both past and current records.
Job Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, any related course.
  • With excellent leadership skills.
  • Proactive and target oriented. Works with high pace and with a high level of accuracy at the same time.
  • Good knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication skill.
  • High integrity and sense of commitment and has a strong sense of ownership
