Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading Multinational company in manufacturing. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 15 years' experience in human resources for the job of Human Resources Manager. The job is based in Tangerang, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Report directly to the Regional VP HR and Country Director
  • Ensuring best practice HR procedures
  • Formulate, develop, lead and implement local HR strategy and initiatives that are aligned with the overall business strategy and support business objectives for the country.
  • Lead to acquire, develop and retain talents, including performance management, succession planning, talent development, aligned with current and future business needs.
  • Develop functional or operational policies and develop policy frameworks for the organization.
  • Take responsibility for creating underlying procedures, ensuring compliance to local regulations and alignment with business needs, including monitoring the implementation and competitiveness.
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of the latest HR developments and provide suitable interpretation to management team, leadership team, business leaders, and employees within the organization.
  • Develop and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, employees, government bodies and external vendors.
  • Recruitment procedures for all professional roles
  • Compensation and Benefits management
  • Ensuring Performance Management and Disciplinary practices are implemented
  • Supporting Organisational Design tools
  • Hiring, training, and supervising staff

Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, or related field
  • A minimum of 15 years as the lead HR professional in a multinational and large organisation
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Indonesian Manpower Law and Regulations
  • Experience in manufacturing industry
  • Verbal and listening communication skills that allow open and honest discussions
  • Experience with web-based platforms for recruitment, talent management
  • Ability to think critically
  • Ability to collect, collate and analyse data
  • Ability to maintain utmost confidentiality and protect sensitive HR information
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Good written and verbal English skills
