Executive recruitment consultant at Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a multinational beverage company. This role is crucial in managing the importation and distribution from Singapore across Indonesia. The responsibilities include accurate forecasting, liaising with Singapore, Philippines, and Indonesia Supply Chain to ensure stock availability, managing the importer's Purchase Order (PO) process, handling all technical documentation, and collaborating with PR Singapore's Supply Chain Team to oversee logistics. The position also involves building partnerships, ensuring efficient product flow, and maximizing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with international suppliers to ensure timely and efficient importation of alcoholic spirits.
  • Manage importer's forecasting and PO creation on a monthly basis.
  • Oversee incoming stocks, inventory levels, stock rotation, and depletion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with importers, distributors, and retailers.
  • Expand distribution network by identifying potential partners and negotiating contracts.
  • Monitor distributor performance and provide necessary support to achieve sales targets.
  • Collect data from importers and their distributors on a monthly basis, compiling it into a database for effective analysis of stock and sales.
  • Communicate pricing and promotions regularly, and collect forecasts from importers to form the basis of Rolling Forecast Estimates.
  • Drive Pay for Performance and back margin initiatives by:
    • Sharing accurate quarterly targets (aligned with importers).
    • Communicating correct pricing and order/PO placement suggestions.
    • Coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders to optimize stock availability, supply, and importer target achievement.
  • Obtain necessary licenses and permits for importation and distribution.
  • Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting the industry.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for importation, distribution, and marketing activities for depletion.
  • Monitor costs, pricing, and profitability.
  • Analyze financial data to make informed decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in importation, distribution, or logistics within the alcoholic beverage industry.
  • Experience in the liquor, tobacco, and FMCG industries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with import/export regulations and customs procedures in Indonesia.
  • Good command of MS Office.
  • Ready to work across different time zones and adapt to customer requirements.
