IT Analyst (Digital Transformation)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia's Technology Division is recruiting on behalf of a leading organization specializing in digital transformation and industrial solutions. Our client is seeking an IT Analyst (Digital Transformation) to support project implementation and system integration.

Job Summary
The IT Analyst (Digital Transformation) will be responsible for liaising with vendors, coordinating system implementation, and ensuring the successful deployment of digital transformation projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor Management - Identify and liaise with external vendors to determine the best project implementation methods and timelines.
  • Project Evaluation - Provide expert evaluation on the quality and scope of work by external vendors.
  • Cross-Department Coordination - Work closely with the operations and IT teams to coordinate project testing, quality checks, integration, and system launch.
  • System Maintenance - Conduct system stress tests, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide 24-hour support to maintain system stability.
  • Training & Support - Provide training to operations staff on the use of new digitalization systems.
  • Project Implementation Support - Assist the Head of Department in executing digital transformation projects.

Key Requirements

  • Educational Background - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Digital Transformation, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience - 3-5 years as an application engineer/developer, preferably with a background in industrial transformation or data analytics.
  • Travel Commitment - Willingness to travel frequently between East and West Malaysia.
  • Interpersonal Skills - Team player with strong interpersonal abilities, self-motivated, proactive, and independent problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability - Ability to manage changing requirements and competing priorities under strict deadlines.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management - Demonstrated experience in leadership, conflict resolution, and change management.
  • Data Platform Expertise - Ability to expand and enhance data platform capabilities to address new data challenges by planning and implementing best practices across the organization.
