Successful candidate should have a proven track record in managing IT infrastructure, operations, cybersecurity, and technology innovations in a healthcare environment.
Job Descriptions:
- Lead the overall management of IT infrastructure, ensuring 24/7 availability and reliability of all systems, including networking, data centers, servers, and hospital management systems.
- Oversee IT operations to ensure the smooth running of hospital information systems (HIS), electronic medical records (EMR), and other critical healthcare applications.
- Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the hospital's goals to enhance operational efficiency and improve patient care.
- Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place to protect sensitive healthcare data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigating security risks.
- Lead IT projects and innovations, including the adoption of new technologies such as telemedicine, digital health platforms, cloud solutions, and AI-based diagnostic tools.
- Establish and maintain data governance policies, ensuring secure storage, access, and use of hospital data.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and clinical teams to understand IT needs and deliver solutions that support clinical and operational excellence.
- Manage relationships with IT vendors, ensuring cost-effective procurement of software, hardware, and services.
- Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence.
- Ensure compliance with relevant local and international healthcare IT standards and regulations (such as HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Oversee IT budget planning and management, ensuring efficient use of financial resources.
- Continuously assess and upgrade hospital IT systems to keep up with technological advancements in healthcare.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally within the healthcare industry.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects and innovations, particularly in healthcare systems.
- In-depth knowledge of hospital information systems (HIS), electronic medical records (EMR), and healthcare technology standards.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, data privacy laws, and IT risk management in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to innovate and implement new technologies.
- Experience with ISO 27001 certification and compliance with regulatory standards related to healthcare IT.
