IT Manager (Healthcare)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a renowned hospital based in Jakarta. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 7 year's experience in IT Manager.

Job Summary:

  • The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the hospital's information technology systems, ensuring they support and enhance clinical operations, patient care, and administrative functions. The IT Manager will lead the IT team in managing the hospital's IT infrastructure, developing and implementing IT policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure Management:

  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of hardware and software systems.
  • Ensure the network infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable.
  • Manage the hospital's electronic health record (EHR) systems and other clinical software applications.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor the IT team, providing direction and support.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and manage staff development plans.
  • Ensure effective communication within the IT team and other departments.

Project Management:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to identify technology needs and solutions.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and products.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce IT security policies to protect patient data.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
  • Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Technical Support:

  • Provide high-level technical support for complex issues.
  • Oversee the help desk operations to ensure timely resolution of IT-related problems.
  • Ensure proper documentation and tracking of IT support requests.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the IT department's budget.
  • Monitor and control IT expenditures.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource utilization.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in IT management or healthcare informatics is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proven experience in managing IT projects and leading IT teams.
  • Experience with EHR systems and healthcare IT applications.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of network and systems administration.
  • Proficiency in cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards.
