Executive search firm, Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of one of the leading multinational transportation, logistics, supply chain and storage company that is based from the UK.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Project Coordinator to join our team on a fixed-term 18-month contract. Based in our Kuala Lumpur office, you will play a crucial role in coordinating multiple workstreams, tracking progress, and ensuring successful project execution. This role requires a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach with strong project coordination skills, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination & Reporting:
- Oversee and track multiple workstreams, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and deadlines.
- Maintain detailed reports and dashboards to provide clear visibility of project progress.
- Chase outstanding actions, proactively follow up with stakeholders, and ensure accountability
- Stakeholder & Team Engagement:
- Collaborate across all levels of the organization, from technical teams to senior leadership.
- Act as the key point of contact for project updates and communications.
- Facilitate meetings, document discussions, and ensure clear follow-ups.
- Document Control & Process Management:
- Maintain project documentation, ensuring proper version control and accessibility.
- Organize and manage reports, timelines, and compliance documents.
- Ensure structured and efficient documentation processes across projects.
- Technology & Systems Management:
- Utilize project management tools and software to track progress and manage documentation.
- Ensure effective use of technology for communication, tracking, and reporting.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues and coordinate with IT teams as needed.
Key Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years in project management coordination, ideally within IT or business-related projects.
- Communication: Excellent spoken and written English with the ability to engage at all levels.
- Project Experience: Must be able to describe a minimum of 3 recent projects, ideally involving customer interactions and goods movement.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using project management tools, dashboards, and digital collaboration platforms.
- Self-Management: Highly self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Hands-On Approach: Proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership of tasks.
- Leadership & Initiative: Confident in taking the lead to ensure business objectives are met.
