Logistics Assistant (Supply Chain)

Monroe Consulting Group Philippines, an executive recruitment firm, is representing a global leader in renewable solutions for packaging, biomaterials, wood products, and paper. As part of its expansion in the Philippines, the company is actively seeking a Branch / Country Manager with 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in Logistics freight forwarding industry. This role will assist the Admin Manager in all Logistics and Supply chain related processes. This is an onsite job operating Monday to Friday.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Assistant will support logistics operations, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of shipments and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordinating logistics activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Support the logistics team in ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders and shipments.
  • Maintain and update inventory records and monitor stock levels to ensure availability.
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to coordinate logistics activities.
  • Prepare shipping documents and ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
  • Assist in resolving any issues related to logistics and shipments promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize logistics processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Participate in inventory counts and audits as required.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to logistics operations as needed.
  • Follow safety and quality standards in all logistics activities.
