Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of on-growing F&B manufacturing. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 6 year's experience in upstream manufacturing process for the job of Manufacturing Manager (Upstream). The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Oversee daily operations of the food manufacturing facility to ensure production goals are met.
- Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely delivery of products.
- Monitor production processes and adjust plans as necessary to meet changes in demand or production challenges.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food quality regulations at all times.
- Manage and train production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance and safety.
- Work closely with quality assurance teams to implement quality control measures and address any product issues.
- Collaborate with supply chain and inventory management to ensure optimal levels of raw materials.
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Prepare and manage budgets related to operational costs, labor, and materials.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of [6+] years of experience in food manufacturing or production management.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality assurance practices (e.g., FDA, HACCP, GMP).
- Proven experience in managing teams and leading operational improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
