Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia is recruiting on behalf of a leading furniture manufacturer. As our distinguished client's business is expanding, our client is looking for an ambitious and experienced National Sales Manager to join the team.

Job Responsibilities

  • To expand revenue for the business through new business channels/ platforms specifically on shops and specialist stores in Malaysia (where applicable).
  • To ensure profitability growth in all projects taken on.
  • To ensure proper products display & introduce new solution & products to support the company's top line targets while ensuring consistency to the brand strategy.
  • Drive the business and to meet the profitability of company (EBIT).
  • To develop sales strategy to drive the sales objective of the company.
  • Develop business plans and sales strategies and ensure attainment of company goals, profitability and expectations.
  • Provide direction to the sales team to assist them in achieving company goals in sales, profit margins and collection targets.
  • To maximize profitable volume growth, market share as well as aggressively target and develop new distribution channels in the assigned market.
  • Maintain contact with all dealers in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing, developing, monitoring, training and motivating dealers.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented with the team.
  • Work closely with Marketing team & E-Commerce for new product development and to drive the execution of the products into the market place and to achieve financial goal of the company.
  • To conduct frequent travels to visit customer throughout the whole countries to build rapport & mutual business relationship.
  • To ensure debtors' collection are on time.
  • To ensure sales targets are met.
  • To proper display of products in the market place.
  • To build and to sustain a strong sales team in Malaysia.

Job Requirements:

  • A people manager & great communicator
  • Bachelor / Master Degree in Business Administration/ Marketing / Advertising Management/ Commerce, Digital Marketing or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 8-15 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Team player & Strong leadership & a people manager.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong Marketing 4P knowledge.
  • Able to execute Sales Strategy & promotional strategy
  • Experience in the home furniture industry / consumer products are desired.
  • Computer literate
  • Experience in B2B (Distribution) and B2C (Consumer) channel.
