National Sales Manager (Medical Devices)

Executive recruitment consultant Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of Medical Device Distributor. Our client is seeking for National Sales Manager - Medical Imaging position. This job will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve national sales targets for medical imaging products and solutions.
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the national sales team, providing guidance, performance management, and training to ensure high performance.
  • Foster a results-driven culture while promoting continuous learning and development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, healthcare providers, distributors, and other stakeholders in the medical imaging sector.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, pricing agreements, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with marketing, product management, and customer service teams to align sales strategies with product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring that financial objectives are met.
  • Forecast sales volumes, analyze sales data, and provide regular reports to senior management on progress against targets.
  • Ensure that all sales activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies, including healthcare and medical device standards.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expansion into untapped regions or markets.
  • Lead initiatives for market penetration and expansion of medical imaging product lines.
  • Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and industry stakeholders to promote medical imaging products and build brand credibility in the market.
  • Represent the company at relevant industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to promote medical imaging products and strengthen brand presence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the medical imaging or healthcare technology sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding national sales targets.
  • Experience managing large sales teams and driving national or multi-regional sales efforts.
  • Strong understanding of medical imaging products (MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, etc.) and the healthcare industry, including trends, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the country to manage accounts, attend industry events, and lead sales teams in various regions.
