Our respected client is seeking a highly skilled Plant Engineering Lead who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in managing engineering functions within a manufacturing setting.
The Plant Engineering Lead will oversee plant operations, drive key engineering projects, and lead a talented team to success. They will focus on optimizing plant performance through continuous improvement initiatives and leveraging expertise in PLC systems and automation technologies. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in plant engineering within a manufacturing environment. This position is based in Rayong province, Thailand.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day plant operations, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and efficiency.
- Lead and manage engineering projects, coordinating with global teams to meet project timelines and objectives.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies for equipment and facilities to maximize uptime and reduce operational costs.
- Monitor and enhance the performance of plant processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the plant.
- Oversee the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PLC systems and other automation technologies within the facility.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in a managerial role within plant engineering or operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, including troubleshooting, programming, and maintenance.
- Experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of developing and managing high-performance teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both local and international teams.
- Fluency in Thai and English, both written and spoken.
