Procurement Senior Associate (Engineering)

Role Summary

  • We're seeking a Buyer to manage essential goods and services procurement for our organization.
  • This role involves supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, inventory management, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing to support our operational goals.
  • The Buyer will collaborate closely with internal departments and suppliers to streamline processes, maintain quality, and ensure compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Management
    • Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers to meet company needs.
    • Build long-term supplier relationships and regularly assess their performance.
  • Procurement Process
    • Oversee the entire purchasing cycle, from RFPs and quotes to contract negotiation.
    • Coordinate with departments to meet their needs on time.
  • Negotiation and Contracting
    • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality.
    • Manage contracts to align with company policies.
  • Inventory & Cost Management
    • Monitor inventory and analyze purchasing data for cost savings opportunities.
    • Maintain optimal stock levels by working with inventory control.
  • Compliance and Documentation
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and maintain accurate procurement records.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's in Business, SCM , or related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years for CL3 and 3-5 years for CL4 in procurement or purchasing.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with procurement software and ERP / Oracle systems; strong analytical abilities.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
