Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia is recruiting on behalf of a leading life-science equipment provider in Malaysia. As business growth and expansion continues, our respected client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will drive the product strategy, development, and lifecycle management for advanced instrumentation solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the products meet market needs and deliver exceptional value to customers in the life sciences field. The opportunity is based in Selangor, Malaysia.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute the product roadmap, aligning with company goals and market trends. Identify new market opportunities and define product positioning.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and emerging technologies. Use insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with sales team to drive product development from concept to launch. Ensure products meet technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Gather feedback to refine product features and improve user experience.
  • Sales Support: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop product messaging, training materials, and promotional strategies. Support sales efforts through presentations and demonstrations.
  • Lifecycle Management: Monitor product performance and gather user feedback post-sales. Manage product iterations, enhancements, and end-of-life processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences; Master's in Science or advanced degree preferred.
  • > 5 years of product management experience, preferably in life sciences or related instrumentation fields.
  • Strong understanding of life sciences instrumentation, laboratory workflows, and relevant regulatory environments.
