Executive Recruitment Consultant at Monroe Consulting Group recruiting on behalf of our client, one of the largest distributor companies in Indonesia, specializing in a diverse range of consumer products. As a Product Manager for Consumer Products, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned products, from market analysis and forecasting to product launch and performance evaluation. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful introduction and management of our consumer product lines. This position requires strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with a preference for candidates with a background in FMCG products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps to meet business objectives and market demands.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless product launches and ongoing management.
  • Prepare and manage product forecasts, budgets, and timelines.
  • Monitor product performance, analyze sales data, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product offerings.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing principals and identify opportunities to onboard new principals.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including presenting product updates and performance reports to senior management.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and partners to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and innovations to keep our product portfolio relevant and competitive.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in beauty, baby products, health products, or automotive care.
  • Proven track record of managing product lifecycles and achieving business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with forecasting tools.
