Executive recruitment consultant at Monroe Consulting Group is working on behalf of our clients, a multinational FMCG Company [Condiments Products] renowned for its commitment to quality and innovation. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to lead the marketing strategy for one of their well-known brands in Indonesia. This job will be based in Tangerang, Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall marketing function and strategy for the condiments brand at the country level.
- Plan, monitor, implement, and evaluate marketing initiatives to drive brand and category performance.
- Prepare and align the Annual Strategic Plan to meet brand objectives, including sales and category growth targets.
- Track and analyze brand health, market share, product pricing, and category performance.
- Prepare detailed management reports to provide insights on brand performance.
- Collaborate with the Business Manager, Finance, and Zone Marketing to effectively allocate and track ATL (Above-the-Line) and BTL (Below-the-Line) budgets.
- Monitor and evaluate the results of marketing activities.
- Support Zone Marketing in executing global research, advertising campaigns, new product development (NPD), and foodservice programs.
- Lead country-level participation in trade events and marketing activities.
- Work with creative and production agencies to execute digital, social media, and product packaging campaigns.
- Drive country-level NPD initiatives aligned with global and zone directions, manage approval procedures, and ensure successful product launches.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop trade marketing plans that enhance channel growth and market penetration.
- Manage product forecasting and inventory, and work with distributors on initiatives such as in-store promotions, roadshows, and sampling activities.
- Conduct product training sessions for internal teams and distributor salesforces to ensure excellence in sales and merchandising.
- Handle all consumer inquiries related to the brand.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields. An MBA is an added advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in FMCG, preferably in the sauce/condiment category.
- Proven expertise in leading major brand campaigns and new product launches.
- Experience working with advertising and creative agencies.
- Experience with Ecommerce marketing is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English and a local language is a must.
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Self-motivated, action-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Innovative, with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and basic knowledge of Photoshop is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as needed.
