Production Manager (Nightshift in Laguna or Cavite, Philippines)

Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a prominent and established manufacturing company in the Philippines. Our respected client is seeking for a Production Manager will lead and manage night shift manufacturing operations at the Laguna or Cavite facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the production process, coordinating all manufacturing activities, and ensuring production targets are met efficiently and on schedule. The position will be working in nightshift in either Laguna or Cavite plant.

Job Summary:

The Production Manager will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless production operations and swiftly address any arising issues. This role demands a strong grasp of manufacturing processes, exceptional leadership abilities, and the capability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for implementing and upholding quality control standards while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Main responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage major Key Result Area related to production objectives, goals and target of the department such as productivity, scrap, OTD, material consumables, cost initiative and associated with quality
  • Review production requirements necessary to attain objectives and coordinate with the concerned parties on the provision of these needs. Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Align production objectives with the overall company objectives. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production operations. Resolve any production issues or delays promptly.
  • Train and supervise production staff
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production management. Experience in process improvement and lean manufacturing.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, analytical and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and health and safety regulations. Ability to implement and monitor KPIs.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
