Executive Recruitment Company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a reputable Data Center Company looking to onboard a Data Center Project Director to spearhead the company's Data Center site construction development. This job is based in Jakarta.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire process of data center projects from start to finish, ensuring they stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with various teams, such as engineering and procurement, to smoothly execute projects.
- Create and update project plans, schedules, and budgets, keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
- Use expertise in Data Center engineering to provide technical guidance throughout projects.
- Manage risks, issues, and changes effectively, implementing strategies to ensure success.
- Act as the main contact for project communications, ensuring clarity among stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the Central Management Team to stay aligned with project goals.
- Lead internal and external project teams and develop internal talent.
- Establish good relationships with local government and relevant authorities.
- Handle project planning, permitting, and construction approval procedures.
- Organize licenses and approvals according to regulations.
- Oversee review and approval processes by relevant departments.
- Manage major supporting procedures for construction.
- Ensure projects meet cost, time, quality, and objective targets.
- Implement best practices for document management.
- Provide regular updates on permitting status and challenges.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Over 15 years of senior-level experience in construction project approval and public affairs.
- Obtain certification in Data Center such as CDCP, CDCS, or ATD and Project Management (PMP).
- Proven experience in handling data center construction project adhering to ANSI/TIA 942 standard.
- Familiarity with local government procedures.
- Strong network within the data center ecosystem is advantageous.
- Local experience in Indonesia/Jakarta is required, with international exposure preferred.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Confident in client and vendor interactions.
- Self-motivated and collaborative.
- Effective written and verbal communicator.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
