Our respected client is seeking of well experience in environment solutions with all knowledge in supply chain and logistics process - waste-water treatment for the position of Purchasing Manager. The job is based in Makati City.

Job Summary:

The Purchasing Manager will prepare and implement vendor accreditation process and perform vendor performance evaluation

Key job responsibilities include:

Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
Prepare and implement vendor accreditation process and perform vendor performance evaluation
Streamline procurement process to ensure all requirements are delivered at the best possible time with the best quality and price
Develop and maintain process for monitoring all Purchasing activities
Participate in Research & Development of products
Ensure logistics are scheduled properly with coordination with General Affairs Dept 8. In-charge of the monitoring of inventory of materials in the staff house
Resolve vendor or subcontractor grievance and claims against suppliers
Coordinate with other department on the approve specifications for awarding bids
Report directly to the Director
Perform other functions that may be assigned from time to time

Job Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Engineering course
With at least 5 years relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory / material control and warehouse management
Knowledge and familiar in Logistics process especially import and export process
Knowledge and familiar in Waste-Water Treatment Process is an advantage
Excellent communication skills with good leadership background
Has a high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
