Sales Engineer (Consumer Products) - Northern MY

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia is recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of product verification and compliance services. Our esteemed client is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth within the Industrial Energy Product and Consumer Product Business Units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and pursue business opportunities for a diverse range of Testing and Certification services.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets while expanding the customer base.
  • Support management in reviewing and developing pricing strategies to improve profitability across various product portfolios.
  • Ensure a seamless customer experience, from acquisition to after-sales support.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Marketing team in Malaysia to drive and support lead generation initiatives.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate quotation generation for inquiries.
  • Build, strengthen, and optimize client and partner relationships through regular customer visits and by addressing inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Work under an On-Target Earnings (OTE) scheme, with performance-based remuneration.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  • At least 4 years of sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably within an international organization.
  • Experience and knowledge in Industrial, Cables, Switchgear & Accessories, Machinery, Electrical, or Electronics industries.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development, with expertise in consultative selling and key account management.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate solutions clearly.
  • Target-driven with a diplomatic approach to influencing management and decision-makers.
  • Meticulous, resourceful, and a quick learner.
