Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia's Professional Division is recruiting on behalf of a leading global management consulting boutique specializing in the development and implementation of strategy and growth concepts in Asia.

Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Consultant with 2-5 years of professional experience in strategy and operations consulting (preferred) across fields such as Management Consulting, Market Research, and Corporate Finance. This position is based in Singapore/Malaysia, with remote working options available. As a Senior Consultant, you will be an integral member of the management consulting team, working on APAC region projects to develop frameworks, conduct research, and deliver actionable strategies aligned with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report to the Partner and ensure the successful delivery of consulting projects according to client objectives and timelines.
  • Perform strategic reviews and optimization studies for clients with improvement objectives.
  • Conduct end-to-end market research and develop go-to-market strategies for clients with growth objectives.
  • Engage with clients to advance project objectives and support business improvement or transformation efforts.
  • Lead and participate in problem-solving and proposal development processes, including conducting preliminary analysis and preparing pitch decks.
  • Ensure discipline in data management and uphold professional conduct both in the office and on client sites.

Key Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in strategy and operations consulting, with preferred exposure to management consulting, market research, or corporate finance.
  • Proficiency in a regional language such as Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia, or Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing research projects and delivering actionable outcomes.
  • Strong experience managing strategy projects involving senior leadership and cross-border initiatives.
  • Expertise in structuring business cases, building financial models, and guiding team members in these tasks.
  • Highly personable with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in advanced data analysis tools.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work independently and lead small teams effectively.
  • A willingness to learn, ask questions, and take on responsibilities proactively.
  • Legal right to work in Singapore.
