Our respected client is seeking for a Senior Data Engineer who is a versatile and analytical professional who plays a key role in extracting value from data. You will bridge the gap between data infrastructure and business insights, possessing expertise in both data engineering and data analysis.

The job is based in BGC, Taguig City and offers an Onsite work arrangement.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Data Engineering:

Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL)
Ensure data quality and consistency throughout the data lifecycle
Implement and maintain data storage solutions, including data warehousing
Collaborate with data scientists and other stakeholders to understand data requirements

Data Analysis:

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations
Perform statistical analysis and modeling to extract meaningful insights
Develop clear and compelling data visualizations (dashboards, reports) to communicate findings
Monitor data quality and identify areas for improvement

KPIs:

Data Pipeline Efficiency and Quality: - the number of errors encountered during data processing; completeness of data, accuracy and consistency
Data Infrastructure Management: - measured in data pipeline uptime
Data Analysis: - business relevance and significance of data-driven insights generated

Key Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or related field (Master's degree a plus)
5+ years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a combination of both
Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and potentially other languages (R, Java)
Experience with data warehousing concepts (e.g., dimensional modeling) is a plus
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is beneficial
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
