Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is representing a prominent cybersecurity company in the Asia Pacific region in their search for a skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team in Jakarta.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and provisioning separate Kubernetes clusters for WEB, APP, and DBS VM tiers while ensuring strict adherence to network segmentation requirements
- Collaborating closely with our team to ensure that the Kubernetes environment meets enterprise-level standards for reliability, performance, and scalability
- Providing continuous maintenance, monitoring, and support for the Kubernetes clusters post-deployment
- Deploying our applications using Helm charts, ensuring seamless integration with the Kubernetes environment
Key Requirements:
- Proven expertise in designing and deploying Kubernetes clusters within complex on-premise environments
- Proficiency in optimizing Kubernetes for single VM instances, potentially utilizing k3s, Rancher, rke2, or similar solutions
- Familiarity with network segmentation and security best practices within Kubernetes deployments
- Experience with Helm charts and deploying applications onto Kubernetes clusters
- Strong familiarity and experience in deploying Kubernetes clusters on Linux
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to independently troubleshoot issues
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with our team, along with the ability to work under NDA for sensitive details
- Proven experience in managing system administration from scratch, including tasks such as compiling the Linux kernel, compiling Linux drivers, optimizing Linux performance, and managing distributed storage systems using technologies like Longhorn
- Proven expertise in setting up and managing virtual private networks through overlay software-defined networks such as Tailscale or WireGuard
- Aged between 27 and 39 with a minimum of 10 years of experience in system administration, DevOps, and clustered monitoring systems.
