JOB SUMMARY
The Finance Analyst (Technical and Statutory Accounting) will support the Statutory Reporting Team in preparing the Annual Report & Accounts and other statutory requirements. Additionally, they should stay updated on internal, legislative, accounting, and business partnering developments, ensuring timely interpretation and implementation of required changes.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
| Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely statutory and consolidated financial statements and disclosures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements by collaborating across functions. |
| Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures · Ensure accurate and complete financial records are maintained |
| Identifying and resolving accounting issues and discrepancies |
| Provide input and to the internal and external audit processes, including liasing with auditors and ensuring timely completion of audits |
| Provide guidance and expertise on technical accounting issues such as revenue recognition, amortization of intangible assets, goodwill and impairment. |
| Ensure compliance with external audit requirements, maintaining documentation of accounting policies and procedures to maintain statutory requirements. |
| Provide input to the Statutory Reporting Team in the preparation of the Annual Report & Accounts, and other statutory requirements as required; |
| Ensure appropriate continuous professional development, keeping abreast of all internal, legislative, accounting and best practice business partnering developments. Ensure appropriate interpretation and implementation of required changes in a timely manner; |
| Support all internal and external audit activities through the provision of required documentation and attendance of necessary meetings |

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS
| Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field. |
| Accounting qualification (CPA or equivalent) preferred. |
| 2+ years of experience in financial reporting, or related roles, with a strong understanding of accounting standards and regulations |
| Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends. |
| Excellent Excel and data manipulation skills. |
| Experience with financial software and ERP systems is desired |
| Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical accounting concepts to non-accounting stakeholders. |
| Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. |
| Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. |
| Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and align financial strategies with business objectives. |
| Knowledge of accounting standards and principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices |
