VP FO Business (Telco)

Executive recruitment company, Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a Telco Tower Infrastructure Company for the role of VP of Business, with at least 5 years of experience in the high management position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to expand the company's fiber optic footprint, including market entry strategies, partnerships, and acquisitions.
  • Oversee the development of business plans, including pricing, marketing, and sales strategies, to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
  • Lead and review engineering/presales team in defining fiber optic route to get the most effective and efficient design
  • Lead and review business case of each new fiber optic project and present the business case to the management team to seek an approval before running the project
  • Lead FO business sales team with dynamic sales strategy to achieve overall sales target
  • Collaborate with fiber optic delivery team to ensure all projects delivered on time
  • Compile and analyze all the revenue related data for fiber optic business which consist of asset, tenancy, project, profitability and sales
  • Ensure efficient and effective operations across all aspects of the fiber optic business, including network deployment, maintenance, and customer service.
  • Implement best practices in project management, supply chain management, and resource allocation to optimize performance and cost efficiency.
  • Oversee compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols, ensuring the highest levels of service quality and operational reliability.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to ensure the financial health of the fiber optic business.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to meet or exceed financial targets.
  • Report regularly to the executive team and board of directors on the financial status, strategic initiatives, and operational performance of the fiber optic business.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master (preferably) degree from accredited, top-tier technology school;
  • Min. of 10 years of practice with an established technology (fiber optic) service company;
  • Min. of 5 years of experience at Sr. management role (business) in an established company (TMT sector - Technology Media and Telecom);
  • Having experience and deep knowledge on fiber optic business for both enterprise and MNOs customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills on both English and Bahasa Indonesia;
  • Proficient understanding of business sensitivities, economics and confidentiality;
  • Strong background in designing/reviewing of fiber optic network for mobile backhaul/fronthaul and enterprise metro area network
  • Strong background in designing/reviewing of business case and aware of typical CAPEX and OPEX of fiber optic business
  • Has a good relationship with MNOs is an advantage
  • Regional exposure is an advantage
