Executive Firm Monroe Consulting Group is hiring on behalf of a micro-hotel company with multiple branches nationwide. Our client is looking for an Accountant Supervisor, with a minimum of three to five years of work experience. This is a full on-site work setup based in Tarlac City, Philippines.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee the daily accounting functions of the hotel. The successful candidate will manage financial processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide accurate reporting. You will work closely with the finance team to support the hotel's operations and financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements and related reports
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions
- Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
- Resolve accounting discrepancies
- Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated financial systems
- Prepare and review requirements for regulatory agencies including tax returns
- Perform other duties as may be required by Management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Proven supervisory experience in an accounting role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Opera, or similar hotel management systems).
