Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia's Industrial Division is recruiting on behalf a MNC leader in the precision instruments industry. Our client is seeking a technical professional, with at least 2 years of experience in an analytical chemistry instruments field who be responsible in providing application services and technical support to their customers locally.
Job Responsibilities:
- Pre and post-sales application support for laboratory solutions in local market.
- Integral with sales and service team to deliver the highest level of customer experience and high value solution development.
- Follow up on technical leads, fast response towards fulfilling customers' enquiries.
- Provide sound consultation on the organization's product solution and application to prospects and customers.
- Workflow development and support (including on site requirements gathering, process definition and working directly with users to point of delivering a solution to implementation status).
- Coordinate and perform advanced customer training.
- Manage and coordinate cross-SBU integration projects.
- Proactively engaged and involved in the laboratory management of the organization's laboratory.
- Stay current with laboratory regulations from such entities as MPRA, USP, FDA, MHRA and data integrity topics.
Strategic Outcome:
- Learn and apply product application, segment specified knowledge and regulatory compliance standards. Successful in penetrating into targeted segments, completing assigned application support responsibilities; regular updating of application support tools and reports. Assisting sales team to meet sales targets and agreed key performance indicators.
- Combine technical knowledge with sales skills to articulate technology and product positioning to both the business and technical users and ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the application support and sales process.
Technical Advisory:
- Provide technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team. Becoming a competent key technical advisor and product advocate for the organization's products.
- Communicate regulatory compliance requirement and applications effectively, demonstrating the organization's market leadership and expertise in the relevant fields.
- Responsible for representing the solution to customers and to engage customers in the field with events such as product training, conferences, seminars and courses.
- Develop customer's staff by providing technical information and training.
- Perform testing and data analysis of customer's samples/materials and prepare results and reports for customers.
Service Standards:
- Responsible for pre-sales groundwork in order to understand customers' actual needs and requirements.
- Determine improvements by analysing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment; or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of equipment or services.
- Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operational improvements.
- Adhere to customers' site operating procedures, rules and health, safety and environment regulations.
Job Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Science or relevant.
- 2-3 years of working experience in a lab, application support and/or laboratory environment.
- Know how about lab processes, i.e., how to plan and create an experiment/analysis, administrative work, how to create lab reports, how to work under Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
- Sound technical and business acumen particularly in identifying potentials and devising solutions to need.
- Independent with good communication, analytical and presentation skills.
- Willing to travel within and not limited to Central region Malaysia as and when required.
- Be a team player and optimize synergy from the team.
