Executive Recruitment Company Monroe Consulting Group's Health Division is partnering with a fast-growing MNC aesthetic company. As their business growth and expansion continues, our esteemed client is looking for an Assistant E-Commerce Manager to join their team. This position is to be based in Selangor, Malaysia.

Job Responsibilities:

E-Commerce Operations:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platforms, including order processing, inventory management, and customer service coordination.
  • Ensure timely updates of product listings, pricing, and promotions across all e-commerce channels (Shopify, Shopee, Lazada & TikTok).
  • Monitor website performance and resolve any technical issues.


Sales and Performance Analysis:

  • Analyse past sales, identify trends, determine fast and slow-moving inventory, and identify sources for converting & non-converting traffic.
  • Provide weekly performance reports with insights and recommendations to improve sales and operational efficiency.
  • Derive strategies and action plans to increase traffic, acquire new customers, increase conversion rate and optimize sales.


Marketing and Promotions:

  • To plan and execute online marketing campaigns, including product launches, promotions, and seasonal sales.
  • Optimize product visibility through SEO, PPC, and social media advertising strategies.


Customer Experience:

  • Assist customer service team to provide prompt assistance, respond to and report relevant issues to higher management.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and support for online customers.


Inventory and Logistics Management:

  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure optimal stock levels and timely product delivery.
  • Manage inventory updates, minimizing stockouts and overstock situations.


Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, logistics and design to support e-commerce objectives.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support.


Job Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of working experience in an online/e-commerce business in the skincare or beauty industry.
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing E-Commerce, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience in e-commerce business operation and execution is a must-have for this role.
  • Familiar with data-driven e-commerce selling, current e-commerce models, e-commerce payment, fulfilment, and logistics.
  • Able to adapt, work independently with minimal supervision under time pressure and handle any ad-hoc tasks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, written and verbal skills.
  • Proficiency in English & Mandarin (both written and verbal)
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, Facebook Advertising, MailChimp & Shopify.
