Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a beauty and personal care company. Our client is looking for a Business Development and Store Expansion Executive. We are looking for a dynamic individual with strong business acumen, strategic vision, and the ability to drive business development and sales growth in Metro Manila. This is onsite from Mondays to Fridays and the office is located in Quezon City.

Key Responsibility:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential locations for new stores in Metro Manila.
  • Analyze demographic and consumer behavior data to determine viable expansion opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive the expansion of stores in the designated area.
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with landlords, property managers, and other stakeholders to secure favorable terms for new store locations.
  • Evaluate potential sites based on foot traffic, target market demographics, and other relevant criteria.
  • Collaborate with real estate professionals to negotiate lease agreements for selected locations.
  • Conduct financial feasibility studies for potential store locations, considering projected sales, operational costs, and return on investment.
  • Develop and manage budgets for new store openings.
  • Oversee the successful launch of new stores, implementing effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and events to boost store visibility and customer engagement.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team for each new store, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to store teams to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in business development, store expansion, and sales management, preferably in the retail sector.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with market research and financial analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with property owners and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, from site selection to store opening.
  • Solid understanding of sales principles and strategies, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in building and leading successful teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
