Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Industrial Division is recruiting on behalf of a global leader within the manufacturing for natural resources. Our client focuses on industrial mineral that has various applications in various sectors.

Job summary:
The successful candidate will be playing a key role in formulating and testing material application for the consumer goods industry. While this is primarily a lab-bound position, the successful candidate will be exposed to some highly technical customer-facing work as well.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Independently execute trials (formulation, sample preparation and testing).
  • Ensure the laboratory equipment are ready for use (maintenance, cleaning, materials).
  • Ensure the integrity and appropriateness of laboratory results and recommendations, prior to re-leasing any project reports.
  • Create and maintain good relationships with machinery and raw materials suppliers.
  • Propose improvements (for the laboratory or specific projects).
  • Ensure safe, efficient and reliable operation of equipment and laboratory space to be always in alignment with corporate policies and local regulations.
  • Adhere to business processes to be aligned with the Group, Segment and Regional Management.
  • Maintain high standards in safety, housekeeping and workplace always.
  • Support Technical Services projects in Consumer Goods segment, as requested by internal or external business partners (through Sales Team), with full adherence to organizational, safety and environmental requirements.
  • Support and actively participate in Development and Innovation projects (e.g. BOI) as per Construction business segment requirements or set targets.



Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Min. bachelor's degree in appropriate science/engineering
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail and manual dexterity to operate various tests on basic and complex lab equipment is essential.
  • Excellent computer and software skills in word processing, powerpoint and excel spreadsheet applications.
  • Good organization and communication skills.
  • Team player
  • Good command of both oral and written English
  • Ability to travel as and when required.
