GM Project (Healthcare)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading healthcare service, we are seeking a professional with at least 10 years' experience in Project Healthcare Management. This pivotal role will be responsible for providing overall construction, operational and project development for new built hospital. The job is based in Makassar, Indonesia.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Direct and manage all phases of the hospital project, including planning, design, construction, and commissioning. Ensure clinical and operational standards are met.
  • Clinical Oversight: Provide medical input on hospital design and operations, ensuring the facility meets the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules. Align project goals with the organization's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless project execution. Liaise with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
  • Operational Setup: Oversee the establishment of hospital operations, including equipment procurement, staffing, policy development, and clinical protocols.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and safety protocols. Implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial resources are used efficiently. Prepare financial reports for senior management.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a multidisciplinary project team. Foster a collaborative environment and support team development.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks. Address challenges and resolve issues to maintain project timelines and objectives.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in healthcare management or project leadership roles, with a strong background in hospital administration or clinical operations.
  • Skills:
    • Proven experience in managing large-scale healthcare projects.
    • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation processes, and clinical standards.
    • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Ability to integrate medical knowledge with project management and operational oversight.
