Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a global company that provides innovative products, raw materials, and expertise to the bakery, patisserie, and chocolate sectors. Our client is currently seeking a Quality Officer. The successful candidate for this key role will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes throughout the manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished products. This is a Onsite work setup based in Taguig, Monday-Friday.

Job Summary:

The role focuses on ensuring food safety and product quality through a variety of responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with updated food safety and quality standards.
  • Investigate complaints related to product safety/quality, implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities.
  • Evaluate and audit suppliers for compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Provide training on quality control, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate non-conformances, implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for better product quality and safety.
  • Monitor and implement HACCP plans.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and standards.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks at various production stages.
  • Adapt to new tasks related to quality and food safety as needed.
  • Support cross-functional projects and other quality-related initiatives.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science (e.g., Chemistry, Chemical Engineering); license required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in quality control/assurance, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards (FSSC, HACCP, GMP), quality control techniques, sensory evaluation, and lab testing methods.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
