Our client is seeking a commercial professional, with at least 8 years of experience in a similar field who will be responsible to carry all sales activities such as growing new customer accounts, achieve sales target, develop marketing opportunities and plans while implementing new sales plans.
Job summary:
- The candidate will be responsible to develop and implement strategic marketing plans, sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
Job description:
- Researching target market and adapting our business into new markets.
- Develops and manages sales/marketing operating budgets.
- Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
- Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and
- events.
- Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs (consultant and authority departments).
- Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
- Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units.
Key requirements include:
- Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent or related subjects.
- Proven track record of success in a similar industry with at least 8 years of experience.
- Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (Chinese).
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Power Point, etc.
- Willing to travel for business trips if required.
