SEA Head of Finance (Chemical Manufacturer), Bangkok Thailand

Award winning executive recruitment company, Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in the chemical manufacturing industry. Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented SEA Head of Finance to lead their financial operations of Southeast Asia offices.

The SEA Head of Finance will be responsible for leading financial operations across Southeast Asia, overseeing cash flow management, complex financial analysis, accounting operations, project finance, and collection/payment processes for both local and overseas transactions. This role requires strong leadership, analytical expertise, and the ability to drive financial strategies to support business growth and operational efficiency.


Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize cash flow, drive revenue growth, and enhance cost efficiency across all regional entities.
  • Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and budget control to support business performance and long-term sustainability.
  • Manage regional cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations and strategic investments while optimizing working capital and facilitating timely fund transfers between countries.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including profitability assessments, cost control measures, and variance analysis, to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local tax regulations in each operating country.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for profitability and operational improvements based on financial insights.
  • Maintain robust accounting operations across the region, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee efficient receivables and payables management, ensuring timely collections and payments across local and international operations.

Job Requirements

  • Proven years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably within manufacturing, commercial, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong experience in regional financial management, with exposure to Southeast Asia.
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise financial systems.
  • Fluent in English.
