Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Industrial Division is recruiting on behalf of a European multinational organization well established in the field of adhesive and chemical manufacturing.

Job Summary:
Our esteemed client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer with 5 years of experience to oversee the planning and execution of technical investment projects across APAC. The role focuses on machinery and technology for adhesive tape production, requiring strong project management skills, cross-functional leadership, and cost-effective execution while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

* Project Management - Lead, manage, and participate in technical investment projects from pre-planning to handover across global locations.
* Feasibility Studies - Conduct feasibility assessments and evaluate industry standards.
* Engineering & Specifications - Oversee detailed engineering, including the development of machine and technical specifications.
* Project Execution - Manage factory acceptance testing (FAT), commissioning, site acceptance testing (SAT), and final handover to production.
* Budget & Supplier Management - Evaluate bids, select suppliers, and ensure projects remain within budget.
* Progress Reporting - Provide regular project updates, covering costs, timelines, and key milestones.
* Safety & Compliance - Conduct hazard assessments and develop safety protocols for new equipment.
* Testing & Quality Assurance - Approve FAT and SAT, ensuring successful completion and documentation of acceptance protocols.
* Special Tasks - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and represent expertise in international committees.

Key Requirements:

* Education - Master's degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Industry Knowledge - Strong understanding of industry regulations and operational guidelines.
* Experience - Minimum of 3 years in project management and 5 years of overall work experience.
* Manufacturing Experience - Preferred background in technical adhesive tape manufacturing; cross-functional experience is a plus.
* Project Management Expertise - Proven ability to lead teams and manage investment projects at a local and international level.
* Systematic & Structured Approach - Strong analytical skills and a methodical work style.
* Communication & Collaboration - Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills in a global setting.
* Assertiveness - Strong ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
* Language Skills - Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* Willingness to Travel - Ability to travel worldwide for periods of 1-3 weeks or longer as required.
