ServiceNow Engineer

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a leading company that provides managed services backed by its own scalable technology platforms with a focus on network and digital transformation. The company offers various services including Solutions Design and Engineering, Connectivity, Provisioning, Operational Support, Project Management, and Order Fulfillment Logistics.

Position Summary:

The ServiceNow Engineer will design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform to support both internal and external customers. This role involves configuring and maintaining the ServiceNow environment, developing workflows, integrating APIs, and maximizing system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:

  • Develop custom applications, workflows, and scripts on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow modules (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management).
  • Create custom reports and dashboards for IT operations insights.

Implementation and Integration:

  • Implement upgrades, migrations, and integrations with other IT systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow-related technical issues.

Support and Maintenance:

  • Provide ongoing system support and maintenance.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functionality.
  • Stay updated with ServiceNow features and best practices.

Essential Duties:

  • Develop and administer ServiceNow infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain Discovery and Cloud Provisioning using the CMDB.
  • Build, patch, and troubleshoot MID Servers and Discovery Patterns.
  • Diagnose system incidents and develop workarounds or fixes.
  • Translate business requirements into sustainable ServiceNow solutions.
  • Automate tasks and processes using scripting.
  • Maintain technical and process documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or Engineering preferred.
  • At least 5 years of IT experience (help desk support in an ITIL environment).
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and ServiceNow best practices.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow configuration, customization, scripting (JavaScript, AngularJS), SQL, and database concepts.
  • Experience with ITOM, ServiceNow Discovery, and Agile project teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Mandaluyong City and on a permanent night shift.
