Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of multinational construction & machinery industry. The company is a leader in the execution of complex excavation pits, foundations, and vertical seals, as well as in the development and manufacture of related machinery for this dynamic market. Our respected client is seeking of well experienced Site Superintendent.

Job Overview:

The Site Manager is responsible for the planning and timely execution and the successful completion in terms of technical qualitative and financial aspects during the execution phase of any project given to him/her.

Responsibilities:

  • Promotes and lives a culture that reflects the organization's values, encourages good performance, and productivity.
  • Creates and executes project work plans, identifies resources needed, ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately, and assures project legal documents are completed and signed with the support of their direct superior, if needed.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project by ensuring that all project requirements as per contract and BFPI's management directive are taken care of, while ensuring the three constraints (quality, cost, time) that face every project are properly managed.
  • Effectively applies methodology, enforces, and lives project safety and quality standards.
  • Reviews deliverables prepared by the team before submitting them to respective clients.
  • Manages project budgets, ensures timely and accurate billing submission, and follows up with clients, when necessary, regarding unevaluated billings.
  • Manages day-to-day client interaction, sets and manages client expectations with the support of their direct superior.
  • Facilitates team and client meetings effectively, together with their direct superior, if needed.
  • Effectively and timely communicates relevant project information to superiors.
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion, and understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.
  • Challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model, mentor, and inspires co-workers to attain goals and pursue excellence.
  • Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contribution, effectively utilizes team members' potential, motivates in the most efficient manner, and mitigates team conflict and communication problems.
  • In charge and responsible for the overall safety of the job site and all of its workers.

Required Education/Experience:

  • EDUCATION: BS Civil Engineering or any engineering course
  • LICENSES/CERTIFICATION: Registered Civil Engineer
  • EXPERIENCE: 15-18 years of related experience with at least 10 years in foundation of BRIDGES, HOUSES, ROADS
  • Must have an offshore work experience.
  • SKILLS: Project Management, Field Management, People management, Decision making and leadership skills
  • Understands the entire nature of the company's business.
  • Can cope with a substantial amount of responsibility, remain calm under severe pressure and is being able to read, interpret and understand complicated technical information.
  • Has confidence, experiences, and skills to support organizational activities.
  • Excellent in organizational, leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Good communicator, active listener, and a good team player.
  • Able to manage conflicting interests of business partners in the interest of the company.
  • OTHERS: Preferably with experience in project plan and execution in a construction company
