Monroe Consulting Group Philippines, a prominent executive recruitment firm, is representing a global system integration company aiming to grow its presence in the Philippines. They are currently in search of a Software Engineer with a minimum of three to eight years of relevant experience. Preferably, candidates should possess strong experience in front-end frameworks such as Angular, WPF, and .NET Framework and experience in writing JavaScript/ TypeScript or C#. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing user interface prototypes for "small" features/applications. This position offers is fully remote with occasional visits in Metro, Manila.
Job Summary:
- A Software Engineer would typically involve designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software systems. Software engineers in this capacity often apply engineering principles to the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment, ensuring that applications meet technical standards and user requirements.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Working on large codebases to fix bugs and add new features.
- Developing user interface prototypes for "small" features/applications.
- Maintaining cloud hosting provider to keep systems running.
- Learning business logic and apply knowledge to improve features in existing applications.
- Writing software user manuals and developing technical documentation for in-house staff.
- Occasionally aiding technical support staff and responding to support tickets.
- Learning new frameworks, technologies, and programming languages.
- Strive for continuous improvement and teamwork in product development and processes.
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
- Must have 3 years and above relevant experience in software development.
- With experience in one of the following front-end frameworks: Angular or WPF (.NET Framework).
- Experience writing JavaScript/TypeScript or C#.
- Strong English proficiency. Remote teams only speak English.
Relevant Competencies / Experience
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
- Exceptional interactive and communication skills
- Technical Writing, developing user manuals.
- Any of the following frameworks: Angular, React, Electron, WPF, Nest.js.
- Using Node.js and/or ASP.net
- Any of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Typescript, C#.
- Minimal understanding of database technologies such as MS-SQL, PostgreSQL
- Any of the following cloud providers: AWS, Azure.
- Troubleshooting and debugging application code.
- Version Control systems such as GIT and using GitHub.
- Using Project Management software such as JIRA.
- UI/UX Prototyping such as Figma or InVision.
