Supply Chain & Logistics Manager - Engineering Consulting (based in Jakarta)
Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational engineering consultant. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 15-20 years' experience in supply chain and logistics for the job of Supply Chain & Logistics Manager. The job is based in Bogor, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:

  • Report directly to the Director
  • Propose an optimal logistics footprint, process re-design and material flows for an existing manufacturing operation.
  • Preparing and aligning the business case for automation for a manufacturing process
  • Using simulation modelling to de-risk and optimize the design and operations for a factory and warehouse.
  • Modelling the future Supply Chain Network
  • Working with the Engineering team to design the warehouse and logistics concepts for a new manufacturing site.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor (S1) degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Transportation, etc.), Supply Chain/Logistics, Operations Research, Business Administration, or equivalent relevant fields.
  • Minimum 10+ years relevant experience in the Supply Chain & Logistics field.
  • Candidate brings industry experience (functional supply chain roles) and strong foundational operational knowledge. Applying business and operational process improvement concepts (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping) to real-world supply chain problems.
  • Demonstrated supply chain & operations consulting experience.
  • Strong project management experience and fundamentals.
  • Manage customer stakeholders across all levels of their organization.
  • Demonstrated business development and communication skills to contribute to winning projects and ensuring a steady workload.
  • Team management and leadership.
