semiconductor industry. Our respected client is seeking Electrical Engineer with at least 1-3 years' experience in in Diesel
engine and generator . The job is based in Alabang, Muntinlupa, Philippines.
Job summary:
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible to design and electrical, testing and validation, troubleshooting and
maintenance, documentation and reporting & manufacturing set up.
Design and Development:
1. Design, develop, and improve electrical/mechanical systems for diesel engines, including:
2. Starting systems (starters, batteries, charging systems)
3. Ignition systems (for specific diesel engine types)
4. Electronic control units (ECUs) and engine control systems
5. Sensor and actuator integration (e.g., temperature sensors, fuel injectors)
6. Wiring harnesses and electrical schematics
7. Research and implement new technologies in engine electrification (e.g., hybrid systems, electric motors)
Testing and Validation:
8. Conduct rigorous testing of electrical components and systems to ensure performance, reliability, and
safety.
9. Analyze test data to identify and troubleshoot issues.
10. Develop and execute validation protocols.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
11. Diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical faults in diesel engines.
12. Troubleshoot issues related to starting, charging, ignition, and engine control systems.
13. Perform preventative maintenance on electrical components.
Manufacturing Support:
14. Provide technical support to manufacturing teams during engine assembly.
15. Assist in the development of manufacturing processes for electrical components.
16. Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
Project Management:
17. Manage electrical/mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion.
18. Coordinate with other engineers (mechanical, software) and technicians.
19. Meet project deadlines and budgets.
Documentation and Reporting:
20. Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and
maintenance manuals.
21. Prepare technical reports and presentations.
Safety and Compliance:
22. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC).
23. Adhere to safety protocols in the workplace.
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor's/College Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* years of experience in elevator design and development.
* Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including:
* Mechanics of materials, Thermodynamics, Fluid mechanics, Machine design
* Experience with PLC programming and control systems is a plus
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
* Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Passion for innovation and a desire to contribute to cutting-edge technology
