Monroe Consulting Philippines is seeking a highly motivated and experienced AP Manager to join our client's dynamic team. The AP Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Accounts Payable (AP) function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee AP Operations: Manage the day-to-day activities of the AP team, including invoice processing, vendor maintenance, and payment disbursements.
  • Ensure Accurate and Timely Processing: Review and approve vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving any payment disputes or discrepancies.
  • Reconcile Accounts: Reconcile vendor accounts and general ledger accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Manage Cash Flow: Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payments to vendors to avoid late fees and penalties.
  • Implement and Maintain AP Systems: Implement and maintain efficient AP systems and processes to streamline operations and improve accuracy.
  • Train and Develop Team: Provide training and development opportunities for AP team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Prepare Financial Reports: Prepare and analyze AP reports, including monthly and quarterly financial statements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of AP principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
