Our respected client is seeking 5 years of working experience in project-civil works from zero to ground completion. The job is based in Iloilo City, Philippines.
Job Summary:
The Project Head is primarily responsible for managing and directing the construction and completion of a Vertical Development Project from inception to final delivery. The role ensures the project adheres to approved plans and specifications, is completed on schedule, stays within budget, and meets established quality and safety standards.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. * Lead the project team, including subcontractors and consultants, to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control procedures.
- Conduct regular project meetings with stakeholders (client, subcontractors, team members) to review progress, address concerns, and maintain open communication.
- Contract Management:
- Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage contract variations and claims effectively.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment processing to subcontractors and suppliers.
- Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Proactively communicate project updates and address client concerns.
- Ensure client satisfaction with project deliverables.
- Manage client expectations and resolve any disputes professionally.
- Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and implement contingency plans for unforeseen circumstances.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and update risk registers accordingly.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures throughout the project.
- Ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards and meets project specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality audits.
- Reporting:
- Prepare regular project reports for management, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on project progress and performance.
Job Requirements:
- Licensed Civil Engineer
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a real estate industry
- Has an in-depth understanding of local building codes, construction procedures, and material and project management principles
- Experienced in handling subdivision and condominium projects
- Knowledge of Construction methodologies and procedures is a must.
- With excellent analytical and organizational skills
