Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a Global Seafood Supplier. With a focus on sustainability and innovation, our respected client strives to set the standard for excellence in the seafood industry.

They seek a dynamic Sales Manager with a deep understanding of the seafood industry to grow the Indonesian market and, in the midterm, take on more responsibilities for other Southeast Asian markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with companies that purchase from importers, including distributors, reprocessors, and smoke factories, to secure new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with retail partners to list new products under the company brand or private label, expanding the product's presence in stores such as Indomaret, Alfamart, Midi, Circle K, and others.
  • Manage inventory and logistics to ensure product availability for customers requiring volumes of less than one container, including establishing partnerships with cold storage facilities and distributors in Indonesia.
  • Evaluate and pursue strategic initiatives to support the company's long-term growth objectives in the Indonesian and Southeast Asian markets, such as obtaining import licenses and establishing a local presence.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the seafood industry, with a strong portfolio of active customers.
  • Full proficiency in English.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations and logistics processes is desirable.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
